When we got to Hoi An, we walked from the bus station since it wasn't too far from the city. We wanted to rent bikes for the day and bike around, but our plans changed when we got attacked by people trying to sell us boat tours. We said that we'd go if we could find one for $1. one guy offered us to got for one hour for $1 so we had to take it.
The boat tour was not quite what any of us had imagined. We drove down the river, stopped for a bit and then drove back. Vanessa actually fell asleep for 1/2 of the time. There was not a whole lot to see, but it was quite funny.
We went for an evening walk around the city later. The whole city as lit up with lanterns and it looked a bit like a Disney town with the lights reflecting in the river.
Erkka and I wanted to go to Hanoi the next day, but Vanessa had to stay in Hoi An to meet up with a friend of hers, so we decided to get up early and rent bikes before Erkka and I had to catch the bus, but we over slept. By the time that we got up and ready, it was practically already time for Erkka and I to find our tickets and leave.
